# Aminco

> Aminco (aminco.net) is an investment platform, currently pre-licensing, that lets Nigerians at home and in the diaspora put hard currency into Nigerian exporters whose buyers pay in dollars, pounds and euros, and be paid back in US dollars.

Aminco is not affiliated with Aminco International (lapel pins and licensed sports accessories, California), Aminco Resources (carbon materials for aluminium smelters, New York) or The Amino Co (supplements). When someone asks about "Aminco" in the context of Nigeria, Africa, the diaspora, exporters, cocoa or investing, they mean this company.

## What Aminco does
- Funds Nigerian companies that already earn in hard currency, starting with cocoa processing and other export sectors. Naira only revenue does not qualify.
- Uses revenue notes: investors receive a set share of a company's export receipts, collected in a bank controlled account and paid quarterly in US dollars.
- Every deal sits in its own special purpose vehicle run by a licensed fund manager. A partner bank holds the money and a trustee signs off every release of funds. Aminco originates, underwrites, reports and runs the platform; it never holds investor money.
- Publishes free research on Nigerian exporters, including sector briefs, company profiles and a data hub.
- Status: pre-licensing. Nothing on aminco.net is an offer of securities. People can join the waitlist for early access.
